Privacy Policy — NinjaProspecting CRM — LinkedIn Capture extension

Effective date: August 1, 2026 · Publisher: Gigadev

This policy covers the NinjaProspecting CRM — LinkedIn Capture browser extension ("the extension"). It supplements the NinjaProspecting CRM privacy policy, which governs data once it is stored in your company's CRM workspace.

What the extension does

The extension records LinkedIn activity that you view in your own browser into your company's NinjaProspecting CRM workspace. It is observe-only: it never sends messages, makes connections, likes, comments, or loads LinkedIn pages in the background. It only processes pages you open yourself, while they are open.

Data the extension collects

When you browse LinkedIn with capture enabled, the extension may collect:

  • Messages — the content, sender, direction, and timestamps of LinkedIn conversations you open.
  • Connections — names and connection dates from your connections list.
  • Profile details — name, headline, profile URL, and LinkedIn's internal member identifier for profiles you view; on Sales Navigator lead pages, the email address and phone number if LinkedIn displays them.
  • Engagement on your own posts — who viewed, liked, or commented, as shown on your notifications page. This is captured only after you explicitly claim your LinkedIn identity in the CRM ("This is Me"); unclaimed browsing captures no engagement data.
  • Configuration you provide — your CRM's web address and the capture token you generate in NinjaProspecting CRM.

The extension does not collect your LinkedIn password, browsing history outside linkedin.com, location, or any data from sites other than LinkedIn and your CRM.

Where the data goes

Captured data is sent over HTTPS only to your company's CRM workspace (the CRM URL you configured), authenticated by your capture token. It is stored in your company's CRM database, where access is controlled by your company's CRM administrators and protected by per-company (tenant) isolation.

Data is never sent to Gigadev-operated analytics, advertising networks, or any third party. Gigadev does not sell user data. There is no tracking, profiling, or advertising of any kind in the extension.

Data stored on your device

The extension stores locally (in your browser's extension storage): your CRM URL, your capture token, a short-lived queue of captured events awaiting upload, and capture-status diagnostics. Removing the extension deletes this local data.

Retention and deletion

Captured records live in your company's CRM workspace and are retained under your company's own data-retention practices. To correct or delete captured data, contact your company's CRM administrator, who can edit or delete records in NinjaProspecting CRM. To stop all collection, disable capture on the extension's options page or remove the extension.

Your choices

  • Capture requires a token you create; without one, nothing is collected.
  • Engagement capture additionally requires your explicit identity claim and can be turned off by your CRM administrator.
  • The on-profile CRM panel can be hidden in the extension's options.

Chrome Web Store disclosure

The extension's use of information obtained from LinkedIn pages adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Changes

We will update this page when the policy changes and note the effective date above. Material changes will be announced through the CRM.
